Doing what you are good at!

Doing what you are good at feels good. Right?

If you do what you are good at, life feels easy. If you do the type of things you are good at, it doesn’t cost you energy. It is also super motivating. It gives you a feeling of being competent and it brings a smile to your face, almost automatically.satisfaction-1014792_1920

Now I want you to go back to a moment you felt your were doing something you are really good at! Think back to that moment you felt you were doing the right thing in the right place. Write down what it was. What were you doing? Who where you ‘working’ with?

Give yourself time to think back to the moment you really felt you were doing things you are good at.

If I do what I am good at

Super! If you want you can print this out and honor it by placing it on a place you see more than once each day (in the pantry for example?).

Now get back to that feeling when you felt you were doing the right thing.  Close your eyes and go back to that moment. Try to feel what you felt when you did the things you are good at.  What happened to your body?  What sensation did you experience?  Go back in time and feel.

What does it look like? What color does it have? Or what do you smell if you think about it? Where do you feel the excitement in your body?

Now I have another question for you. When was the last time you felt this way?

Again, take this seriously. When did you do the things you are good at?

What was your answer? What happened to you when you found out? Are you happy? Do you do what you are good at? Do you use your talent? How satisfied are you with your answers?

I really hope you took some time to do the exercises in this blog. It is so important that we find for ourselves the things we are good at. If we do the things we are good at we feel like being in flow, which is good for all of us.

Let me ask you one more question. What is it you need to change to do the things you are good at? What can you do NOW to make it happen?
